Dr. Halverson is an attending pediatric neuroradiologist within the Division of Neuroradiology at CHOP and an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania. He attended medical school at the University of California – Davis, followed by internal medicine internship at the University of California Los Angeles and diagnostic radiology residency training at the University of Utah. He completed pediatric radiology and pediatric neuroradiology fellowships at CHOP, and an adult neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Utah. He began his clinical practice experience at Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas and later worked at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and at British Columbia Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, Canada. He joined the CHOP radiology department in 2020.
Dr. Halverson’s interests lie in various areas within pediatric neuroimaging, including operative planning and guidance, imaging of the eye and ear, cerebrovascular disease imaging, and pediatric neuroradiology education.
