Anne Marie Cahill, MBBch, BAO

Dr. Cahill is an Attending Radiologist in the Division of Interventional Radiology, Chief of the Division of Interventional Radiology, Director of Image Based Therapy for Vascular Anomalies, and an Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her Medical Degree from University College Galway in Ireland and completed Internal Medicine residencies in Gastroenterology and Endocrinology at University College Hospital and James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Ireland respectively. She also completed a residency in General Medicine at Mullingar General Hospital and in Radiology at Mater Misericordiae Hospital in Ireland. She completed her Pediatric Interventional Radiology Fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She additionally holds a Masters in Radiological Sciences from the University College Dublin in Ireland. She holds dual board certification in Pediatric Radiology and Radiology.

Dr. Cahill is a member of international society including: International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies (ISSVA), Irish Society of Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular & Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE), Register of Medical Specialists-Radiology, The Royal College of Radiologists of London, Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland, Royal College of Radiologists, Faculty of Radiologists Royal College of Surgeons, Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) Part I, and Voluntary Services Abroad (VSA). Dr. Cahill is also a member of national societies including: Society of Pediatric Interventional Radiology, Society of Interventional Radiology, Society of Pediatric Radiology, American Board of Radiology, The Radiological Society of North America, Society of Interventional Radiology, American Association for Women Radiologists, Society of Pediatric Radiology, and American Roentgen Ray Society. She serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Vascular Interventional Radiology, American Journal of Radiology, and Pediatric Radiology, and as a distinguished reviewer for Journal of Vascular Interventional Radiology. Dr. Cahill currently has a grant from Siemens Med Solutions, USA, Inc.
